So if you've made it this far, I probably don't need to tell you how coolthe YA Scavenger Hunt is, right???

But in case you don't already know, this tri-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors...and a chance to win some awesome prizes! At this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize--one lucky winner will receive TWENTY signed books, one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 72 hours!
Here's how it works:
Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are THREE contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter all three! I am a part of the BLUE TEAM--but there is also a red team and a yellow team. You can enter all three contests--which has a total prize bucket of SIXTY signed books!

If you'd like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage.
Directions: Hidden within my post is a single letter that is blue. Make a note of that letter! It's a part of a scrambled phrase. When you go to all the author sites of the blue team, you'll have all the letters you need to enter the contest.
Entry Form: Once you piece together all the clues to the hunt, make sure you fill out the form here to officially qualify for the grand prize. Only entries that have the completed phrase will qualify.
Rules: Open internationally, anyone below the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian's permission to enter. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must submit the completed entry form by April 1st, at noon Pacific Time. Entries sent without the correct puzzle code or without contact information will not be considered.

Today, I am hosting Debbie Vigue on my website for the YA Scavenger Hunt! Debbie is the New York Times Bestselling author oftwo dozen novels including the Wicked series, the Crusade series and the newWolf Springs Chronicles series co-authored with Nancy Holder.  In addition to her epic dark fantasy workDebbie also writes thrillers including The Psalm 23 Mysteries, the Kisstrilogy, and the Witch Hunt trilogy. When Debbie isn't busy writing she enjoys spending time with herhusband, Scott, visiting theme parks. They live in Florida with their cat, Schrödinger.

DAMNED is the second book in the Crusade series:   There is a fine line between love and sacrifice….
Antonio would do anything for his beloved fighting partner Jenn. He protects her, even suppresses his vampire cravings to be with her. Together, they defend humanity against the Cursed Ones. But tensions threaten to fracture their hunting team and his loyalty—his love—is called into question.

With an even more sinister power on the rise, Jenn must overcome her personal vendettas.

Antonio and Jenn need each other to survive, but evil lurks at every turn. With humanity's fate hanging in the balance, they must face down the darkness…or die trying.

Find out more information by checking out her website or find more about her books here!

Anunpublished entry from Jenn Leitner's diary for the Crusade series (Crusade, Damned, and Vanquished) by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguié

Nothing is ever simple.  That's the hardest lesson life has to teachus and the one we fight so hard against until our dying breath.  I, more than most, should understandthis.  My father betrayed me to theCursed Ones.  My master is a Catholicpriest even though I still don't know if I even believe in God.  And I, the most ordinary member of my team,am the leader.  So life's not simple, butbrutally, terribly complicated.

But how I wish that just one thing wassimple.  I wish love was simple.  Antonio de la Cruz is a vampire.  I'm a hunter. How can I love a man I can't even be close to for fear that he willattack me?  The smell of my blood makeshim crazy and with all that he's been through we can't even risk the simplestof things.  A hug, a kiss.  So very, very complicated and hard.  I'm sick of complicated and hard.         And then there's Noah.  Noah is a complicated man, but lovinghim?  That would be so very simple.  He's human, he's a hunter, and he's seen hisshare of pain and loss.  We understand eachother.  He gets me in a way that I don'tthink anyone else ever has.  Maybe morethan anyone else ever could.  I think hecould make me happy.

Is that wrong, to want to behappy?  It shouldn't be, but this worldis so impossible, so upside down, that I'm not even sure what's right and wronganymore.  All I do know is that one day,I'm going to have to make a choice.  Ijust wish it could be easy.
