My contemporary m/m romance, The Rebuilding Year, The Rebuilding Year by Kaje Harper is now available from Samhain Publishing here. This is a great time to buy directly from the publisher since Samhain is offering the book with a new-release discount.

If you want to see a review first, there is one on Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews and another although with **mild spoilers** on Joyfully Jay.

If you decide to give this novel a try, I hope you enjoy meeting John and Ryan and watching them discover each other.

Thao This just made my day... Now I have an excuse to put off studying for exams. (But it is a very valid one!)

Aw, that is so sweet of you. Hopefully it will put you in a positive frame of mind and enhance your subsequent studying :)

Matt YAY!!! A friend of mine just bought me a copy! I can't believe I've never read your books, Kaje! How has that happened?!!!

You might have been a little busy? You should perhaps try Like the Taste of Summer someday though. It's free, short, and the heart of the story is two college boys finding each other. I think you might like it. And I hope when you do get to The Rebuilding Year you enjoy that one. (PS - I like your friend :)

Sarah Thank you - I'd pre-ordered it, but had forgotten which day it was out! (migraine means brain is akin to mush right now)

Oh dear, I hope you feel better. I've been delighted with the number of people saying they pre-ordered. MLR doesn't do that so I've never had a book out that way before. It's such an affirmation that people will buy it because I wrote it, with little advance review or discussion to go on.

Cris So psyched to read this one! I pre-ordered it last month and am fighting not to open it up while I'm at work. Gotta wait til I get home so I can focus :)

Louise I pre-ordered too and as I'm on the west coast I was able to download it about 10:30 PM last night and I stayed up reading until I finished it, sometime after 3 AM. Loved it! Great story Kaje.

Oh, I am so glad you liked it. The first day or two are always a little nerve-wracking, hoping the book will live up to expectations (which inevitably sometimes it won't and so I'm delighted if mostly it does.) Thank you.

I hope you come to love your e-reader - I also said never, but now I own a Nook because so much good M/M stuff is only available in ebook. Crossing my fingers that this story does appeal to you when you read it.
