Appearances, ebooks, chapters, and trailers

Hi all! No, I haven't forgotten about the promised RWA post with pictures. My family leaves on Friday and the weekend is ear-marked for getting caught up on posts, my inbox, and everything else that has fallen behind. However, I have some news that I didn't want to wait to share, so here goes.

First, I'm happy to announce that I will be promoting the upcoming release of One Grave at a Time (out August 30th) with a few signing stops. You can find me, plus fabulous paranormal authors Melissa Marr and Kelley Armstrong, at the
following book stores:

Malaprops Book store, August 30th at 7pm

55 Haywood Street

Asheville, NC 28801

Barnes & Noble, August 31st at 7pm

3327 Pineville-Matthews Road

Charlotte, NC 28226.

Flyleaf Books, September 1stat 7 pm.

752 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd

Chapel Hill, NC  27514

I'm so exited to be signing with Kelley and Melissa because in addition to them being great people, I'm also a huge fan of their books. I'll also be at BookMarks Festival of Books on September 10th in Winston-Salem, NC. Please go to BookMark's site for a list of other participating authors and events. Before anyone asks, "Why aren't you doing more signings or going outside the state of NC?" the answer is simple: I needed local-to-me events because I'm on a tight deadline. If Vlad's book doesn't get finished in the next 60 days, its release date gets pushed back. Therefore, I'm only doing a few events that are close to where I live. Sorry and I hope you understand.
.
In other news, I'm pleased to announce that Happily Never After, my novella set in the Night Huntress universe, is now available in ebook for only $1.99. From the back of the book:
.
"Isabella Spaga is about to reluctantly walk down the aisle with Mr. Dangerously Wrong…but not if dashing vampire Chance has anything to say about it. As a favor to Bones, Chance has come to derail this wedding of beauty to the beast. Now if only he can keep his hands off the bride. From New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress world, it's the

wedding of the season…that everyone wants to miss."
.
I've often described Happily Never After as my tongue-in-cheek homage to the movies Love at First Bite and The Godfather. Ever wondered what would happen to a vampire if a mobster tried to give him a pair of cement shoes? *wink* So did I, and you'll find out in this story. Happily Never After was originally published in print in 2008 in the Weddings From Hell anthology, but as many of my readers hadn't stumbled across it, I'm happy that it's now available for individual sale at a low price. Hope you enjoy!
.
If low-priced ebooks are your thing, then I have more good news: Devil To Pay, my novella originally published in 2009 in the Four Dukes and a Devil anthology, will be available in ebook for $1.99 on August 23rd. From the back of the book:
.
"Blake Turner had it all—until a demon decided to take residence in his soul. Plagued with constant black outs and a trail of dead bodies in his wake, Blake thinks vampire Elise is his best chance at ending the nightmare. It's just too bad he's fallen in love with the gorgeous vamp right before he has to die… Featuring characters from New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress world."
.
Devil To Pay is Blake and Elise's story, but as mentioned above, you'll see other familiar characters like Mencheres, Cat, and Bones in supporting roles.
.
.
Finally, be sure to check back here on July 28th because that's when I'll be releasing the book trailer for One Grave  at a Time. I think it's the best trailer yet and I'm so excited to share it with everyone. Along with the book trailer, on the 28th, I'll also post the first three chapters of One Grave at a Time, so again, be sure to stop by!
