(Me) Hey folks. You're at part one of the treasure hunt for what we like to call the DSAS, or the Dirty Sexy Alley Scene. You see, when my videographer was shooting scenes for the book trailer for City of Fallen Angels, well, she shot a scene deemed "too hot for TV" by my publisher. So the footage was cut. What to do with it? Vania, ever resourceful, made a little mini-movie out of it, added some effects, and voila, the DSAS.
Now nothing happens in the DSAS that would be inappropriate in a PG-13 movie. It's just . . . a bit passionate. But to make sure you really want to see it we decided to create a little treasure hunt across the blogosphere, featuring some of today's top YA writers and their unwavering commitment to "makey-outy scenes." You start here. Each blog leads you to the next blog, which will give you a letter. At the end, you'll have all the letters and can unscramble them into the password that will allow you to watch the video. Haha I found the password - I obsessed forever, then it hit me! I mean, obvious much?? Great anyway - I love scavenger hunts!
OMG I totally found the password and for whatever reason I went no thats not it! Took me another ten minutes before it hit me that I was right the first time. Did anybody else totally have fun watching this? Yes, I did, and I loved every minute of it. ;) HOTT!!
YUM. I suck at unscrambling words but a quick look over the Mortal Instruments wiki-page and I had the word :) And YUM for the video. Me likey-likey

It took me a moment or two for the password to hit me, but I finally got it. Smokin' video :) Can't wait for the book! <3 Hopefully I'll see you when you're in NYC!
Once I figured the password out,I was like "OH" and then I felt dumb. L.O.L I'm guessing the girl was Isabelle...maybe(?) but then why would she be watching them that's kinda creepy.
Haha that was so much fun! Usually I suck at unscrambling words/codes but I was so glad when I figured it out. And that vid was awesome, tats never looked so good to me! Now I'm curious to find out who the couple is! Thanks for the hunt!
Figured it out! Spent like 10 minutes staring at it, got frustrated, then was like oh! wow, stupid girl! Hehe can't wait to watch it!!
Totally agree with all the comments above. HOT...boy was it HOT. Thanks about the tip about wiki Jamie...I would have spent God knows how long on solving it. And you are right Casey the girl does look pissed or like she is crying...couldn't tell which. My imagination does better justice to Jace though :)
I'm freaking out after watching that video. I hope that suspicions about Clary cheating on Jace with another Shadowhunter hunk is only paranoia... I can't wait until April 5th!!!!

I'm wondering if the girl at the end is Aline Penhallow (Sebastian's "cousin"). She's that...*insert not so nice adjective here* who told Clary that Jace would no longer be interested in her now that what they have is not "forbidden".
That was fun..took me a little bit to figure out what it was..then I felt stupid when I figured it out because it took me so long! Hot video though makes me want the book that much more!!

!!!!! I felt sooo stupid not knowing this!!! I forgot about the "unscramble the letters" part and was so confused!! thanks for the info to look on Wiki! it really helped! Though i can't believe I couldn't figure it out on my own!!

That was a pretty epic hunt. It's too bad all sites with "sex" in their URL are blocked from my PC. Imagine my disappoint when I got hit with the "Sorry, access denied, perv" page. Haha, but the hunt was still all sorts of epic fun.
so I watch the video and I think that it was pretty hot, also i discovered some books that i will be raeding this summer.:)
