The Egyptian author AKMAL SHEBL was born in Aachen, Germany. Both parents Egyptian. Before having a chance to get into literature, he worked as an architect, musician, and freelance writer.
Shebl founded, wrote, and performed with many Egyptian and German bands, finally settling with his own band, KARTOON KILLERZ, that rocked the gates of Cairo for seven years in Cairo, releasing the first Egyptian Album in English language.
The album, TOMORROW'S, was an epic about sixteen years old Adam who wakes up in the fictional town of Tomorrow's witnessing an invasion. His quest for knowing what happened leads him to analyzing the world around him in epic tunes and lyrics.
