Roger de Diesbach (full name: Roger Meinrad Marie Guillaume de Diesbach) was a Swiss journalist.

After a stint at the Swiss Telegraphic Agency from 1970 to 1975, where he ran the department of investigation and reporting of ATS1, he became a parliamentary correspondent of the Tribune de Lausanne.

Following the difficulties of the newspaper La Suisse, where he worked at the time, he created in 1986 the Bureau de reportage et de recherche d'information (BRRI) (Office of reporting and information research) in Rossens (Fribourg). In this context, he noticeably published different investigations in 1984 and 1985 concerning the contracts of the firm Pilatus Aircraft (the "Pilatus Affair"), before having to close the BRRI in 1994 for financial reaso...more
