It is Midnight Louie III now, a shelter kitten when adopted and now a lean, mean feline machine, as athletic as a Siamese and all alley cat. The original ML was a cat I wrote about in the newspaper when I was a reporter before I became a full-time fiction writer. His obit has never appeared anywhere, so, as far as I know, he still is "out there" somewhere, like the truth. (less)

All the crepe myrtle bushes are blossoming and it's really beautiful. I'm designing covers for my new eBook editions of the Midnight Louie series with colors in the titles, Cat on a Hyacinth Hunt and Cat in an Indigo Mood, so I'm working with beautiful blues and purples I see outside. Hope summer is in full bloom where you live!
