| It is a tiny bit disconcerting to read a memoir in which you've lived a different angle of some of the components by nature of being related to the author, and wonderful to be able to put some of those puzzle pieces together to create a larger image...more | |

| I was not smart enough for this book. Apologies to the author, because I sensed the entire way through that I must be missing something completely brilliant—I just could never grasp what it was. | |

You know more children's books than anyone I know so I'm wondering if you could help. We are hoping to give each of our young nieces and nephews a book were the protagonist has their name (ie: When You Were Small for our nephew Henry). Can you think of a charming children's book with a main character named Maria?
Thanks!
I love your focus on family and storytelling. While you express this through helping people scrapbook, I do it through helping people journal. I co-authored 2 that help couples express love and appreciation for each other, 1 that makes it easy for elders (or anyone) to tell their life story and another for capturing family wisdom for the next generation. Whatever the format, it's all good! Best wishes. (www.marshallbooks.net)
