About this author

"Priest, poet, and farmer" is the short summary. Many years of ministry in inner city, overseas (Tokyo, suburban, and rural locations have brought me to the northwest corner of Connecticut where I can always deal with writer's block by splitting some more firewood. "Beyond Beowulf" is about my 20th book but the first full-size one from the "poet" side of my life. It's the first-ever sequel to Beowulf and much truer to the original than the movie - though that's not saying much!
