About this author

I'm an Australian-born poet residing in Paris.

My first full collection, entitled "Novaless", was published by Otoliths in September 2008. A chapbook previously appeared from Achiote Press in 2007, and a new chapbook is forthcoming from Ypolita Press.

I've had poetry and criticism in American, English and Australian publications including Jacket, Verse, The Argotist, Fascicle, Cordite, BlazeVox, Free Verse, Stylus, Eratio, Otoliths, MiPOESIAS, Dusie, Shampoo, FourW: New Writing, Imago, among others.

I teach comparative literature at the University of Strasbourg, France, maintain the weblog The Newer Metaphysicals (http://www.thenewermetaphysicals.blog...) and edit the video-forum for contemporary poetry, The Continental Review (http://www.t...more

The first of four extraordinary pieces from Toni Simon and Nick Piombino has just gone live at The Continental Review. Stay tuned over the coming weeks and months for the further installments of this magnificent series.

Rob Walter Holy shitbuckets, some of your friends have over two thousand books listed. Are they picture books? Are they going right back to school and counting "Sunmaths: an introduction to maths for Grade 9 to 10" - Rated: *** Review: "This book is too reliant on earlier titles in the series. A good book should be accessible to any reader, not just ones who have read and memorised the past adventures of fractions, decimals and integers."

I mean, come on people! Do you count the Virgin in-flight magazine? The Yellow Pages 1998 Greater Brisbane A-K? The Yellow Pages 1998 Greater Brisbane A-K in Hardback, second impression?

And in gratitude for taking it, I will now whore the blog right here...

GOODREADER, if you are reading this, you are invited (nay, implored) to take the Pizzicato Five Questionnaire here...

http://pizzicatofivequestionnaire.blo...

You can take it anonymously if you're a government official or just shy!

:-)
