"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ would take the slums out of people, and then they would take themselves out of the slums.
The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature." — Ezra Taft Benson |

Hello! I know you don't really know me but somehow we became friends on the internet. Anyway, a book was just recommended to me that I think you might be interested in. It is called "The 5000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen. I haven't read it and my list of books to read is already incredibly long but I hope you enjoy it and if you give a good enough argument for why it is a must read then I might rearrange my queue. I hope you are having a great summer!
Hi Shanda,Yeah, I'll have to get back out there one of these days. I'm seem to be on the road to SLC a lot these days (okay, I'm going wait until the snow starts to go down a little) and maybe I'll swing by there.
I'd love to be on your podcast. How very fun.
Hope you had wonderful holidays. Christmas is my absolutely favorite time of year.
Have a great day,
Candace

Hey Candace,We're technically Riverton here, but so close to Herriman (just a block or so away) that it's easier just to say we're in Herriman. Have you been out here since then? If not, you probably wouldn't recognize it! (Don't take that the wrong way, lol! You are youthful & gorgeous!) It's crazy how much it's changed just since we moved out here 3 1/2 years ago. We'll have to have you on the podcast sometime if you're ever in the area.
Later!
Shanda :)
Candace,It made me smile to see you are a Nora Roberts fan. I don't often admit that my 2nd daughter's first & middle names came from Nora Roberts' novels :). I got Jaycie from a novel set in Australia (can't remember the title) and Brenna from her Jewels of the Sun series. I guess she's better off than her older sister- we got her name from Star Trek, lol ;).
Shanda :)
Thanks for your friend request, Candace. I was interested to see that your father survived Hitler's invasion of his country. My book begins in Germany during the Second World War and it's about a young boy who survives the war and is helped by the Red Cross. It's funny how there are always connections between people - even when we've never met.Dianne Ascroft,
author, 'Hitler and Mars Bars'
Hey Candance!Just wanted to say thanks for the friend request! Nice picture, by the way! You look so pretty! Well, take care and have a great day!
