Description:
Sample the fifth book in the Tito Amato Mystery series. Venice,1742. On opening night at the opera house, Tito has the audience enthralled--except for one box with its scarlet curtains stubbornly drawn. Annoyed at being ignored, the singer aims the full force of his golden throat at the fourth-tier box. He is astounded when the curtains part and a woman tumbles over the railing to her death. Did a wager over a rival's jewels kill the mischievous courtesan? Or sinister events involving the glass factories on Murano?

| I requested a copy of this book mainly for my husband, an inveterate cyclist. He loved it, laughed out loud several times. He found the section devoted to the road racer tribe especially on target. Besides the humor, there are some nuggets of good ad...more | |
