Along the way, she and her team won numerous state and national honors, including the First Amendment Award and the National Journalism Award for Public Service. This year, she was honored by the Colorado Pro Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists with their Keeper of the Flame Lifetime Achievement Award for her work. A single mother with two college-aged sons, she writes historical romance and contemporary romantic suspense within view of the beautiful Rocky Mountains. She is a RITA finalist (Surrender, 2006) and a three-time Daphne du Maurier finalist...more

June is National Audiobook Month, and to celebrate AudioGals and Tantor Audio put together some fun events for romance listeners.

The first went live today. It’s an audio interview with me, Julie James, Anne Stuart and Jennifer Ashley talking about what it’s like to have our books published in audiobook format and what that process entails for us.

You can listen to that interview or download it... Read more of this blog post »

I'm only 12, so that makes me young for an author. ;-)

Hi, Juhi! So glad you've enjoyed the I-Team series. That makes my day! If I were you, I'd probably start with SURRENDER and read the MacKinnon's Rangers series first. If you enjoy that, then you'll have the Kenleigh-Blakewell series to read. RIDE THE FIRE, the third book in that series, was reissued earlier this month. It can be read as a stand-alone.

If I knew more about your tastes, I might be able to be more certain, but that's my best guess.

And thanks for giving my books a try! I really appreciate it.

Isha I absolutely love your books. I've read most of your I-team series, just started reading 'Skin Deep' and I can already tell its going to be another great read.I just wanted to drop by and let you know you're a great change from authors who write trash in the name of romance and still get acknowledged because of hordes of teenage girls who cant get enough of sappy, unrealistic situations.
Keep up the great work, there can never be enough Pamela Clare books.

Pamela Julian might be my favorite, too. Hard to say, because I really do love them all, each for different reasons.

As for excerpts, I imagine I won't be posting any till spring because I'll need to get much of the book written first. But when I do post them, you'll see them on my blog, which gets reposted here on Goodreads. I always share excerpts. :-)

message 93: by Eima

Eima You're welcome!
A favorite? Oh my, I like all books equally it's hard to choose... If I were to pick, I liked Naked Edge the most. I really love how Gabe and Kat's relationship developed despite the things that are holding them back.
However if I were to pick an I-Team hero, it would most definitely be Julian.

Is that so? I can't wait! I wonder what the next novel is about. Will you be posting teaser excerpts soon?

Pamela Hi, Annie! Good to hear that you enjoyed the I-Team. We've got more on the way there, too. SR and CG will be online as ebooks soon. Ride the Fire, Surrender and Untamed are being re-released in print and as ebooks with extras. And then Defiant will be out February. Hopefully, I'll have an I-Team novella available as an ebook in late November for Christmas. Then it will be on to the next I-Team novel.

So that's what's on the horizon for the next calendar year. :-)
