For a long time I thought it was strange for a woman to write a gay romance between two men but after I wrote Kiss of the Werewolves, there was a character, Danny, Meg's best friend, who had a story to tell. Since m/m was getting very popular at the time, i though, hey why don't i try it? I wrote Danny's Dragon, and after that, I was hooked! On a deeper level, however, I suspect it has been growing up with a gay father and seeing that his main relationship was just as full of problems as straight relationships that I am creating relationships between people who are more mature and work things out, unlike they did in real life. I guess you can say it's a cathartic process.(less)

I discovered that one of the largest gay pride parades in the world is held there every year. I though, this is perfect! At the time, i had just created the world of the White
Tiger in my book Beautiful, Samurai, White Tiger. That is when the idea arose to link Men of Phuket to this series using Ryu from the White Tiger, hence Men of Phuket: Tongue-Thai'd. Then I realized there were more stories to be told from the White Tiger. The series was born!(less)

Perhaps I will become unpopular for speaking positively about Ellora’s Cave at this particular time but I feel it necessary not to remain silent. I have been an EC author since 2006 when they first accepted on of my books, Darelle’s Trinity. One of the highlights of my career as an erotic romance author. I felt like a bit of a rock star. Since then EC has published 14 more of my titles. I have...

Freedom and love go together. Love is not a reaction. If I love you because you love me, that is mere trade, a thing to be bought in the market; it is not love. To love is not to ask anything in return, not even to feel that you are giving something- and it is only such love that can know freedom.Jiddu Krishnamurti

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing, and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.Jiddu Krishnamurti

Immortal Vow by Sedonia Guillone
"I think Sedonia Guillone is one of the most underrated m/m novelists, for I've yet to read any of her work that is not flawlessly executed. Her prose is beautiful--lyrical, poetic. Her writing craft and world building skills set her apart, and I'd..." Read more of this review »

Henry Miller
“The one thing we can never get enough of is love. And the one thing we never give enough of is love.”
Henry Miller

“Gods tender mercies are over all His creatures.”
Psalm 145 9

“Compassion is the feeling of sympathy which the pain of one being awakens in another; and the higher and more human the beings are, the more keenly attuned they are to re-echo the note of suffering, which, like a voice from heaven, penetrates the heart, bringing all creatures a proof of their kinship in the universal God. And as for man, whose function it is to show respect and love for God's universe and all its creatures, his heart has been created so tender that it feels with the whole organic world . . .mourning even for fading flowers; so that, if nothing else, the very nature of his heart must teach him that he is required above everything to feel himself the brother of all beings, and to recognize the claim of all beings to his love and his beneficence.
Horeb, Chapter 17, Verse 125”
Pirkei Avot

“As God is merciful, so you also be merciful. As he loves and cares for all His creatures and His children and are related to Him, because He is their Father, so you also love all His creatures as your brethren. Let their joys be your joys, and their sorrows yours. Love them and with every power which God gives you, work for their welfare and benefit, because they are the children of your God, because they are your brothers and sisters.”
Pirkei Avot

When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European,
“When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”
Jiddu Krishnamurti
