Reihan Morshed Salam (pronounced /ˈraɪhɑːn səˈlɑːm/) is an American conservative political writer and journalist. He writes a weekly column for The Daily Beast, is a policy advisor at e21: Economic Policies for the 21st Century, and is a fellow at the New America Foundation. He has written for numerous publications, including the National Review, Foreign Policy, Slate, The Spectator, The Weekly Standard, and The New York Sun. He previously worked as a producer for NBC News, a junior editor at The New York Times, and a reporter for The New Republic. He co-authored Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream with Ross Douthat and blogs regularly at The American Scene.
