His work includes Karma Incorporated, Emily Edison, Astronaut Dad, an adaptation of Antigone, plus regular contributions to D Magazine and the Smart Pop Series from BenBella Books. David serves as a member of the advisory board for La Reunion, a non-profit organization seeking to create an arts residency in Dallas. For the past eight years, he's taught English and Creative Writing at Martin High School. David lives in Arlington, Texas with his four year old daughter Kennedy.
