Born in 1991 in Inverness, Scotland, Emma Maree Urquhart is a Scottish author of urban fantasy who made the headlines after publishing her first novel at the age of 13.

Now 17, she continues writing part-time, and is currently working on a series of books called "The Network", beginning with "The Network 01; Alternative Realities". The stories are a rewrite of her original published works, the "Dragon Tamers" series.
