Boy this was a well-done and realistic story with enough edgy content to make me adore the characters and savor the novel. :)

This is quite interesting and I dare say more than a little compelling. :

Now that is one amazing book. The emotional roller coaster is one of the most intense rides I've been on yet. I think I like this one the most in the series.

Both stories are compelling and I find myself flipping between the two. :) Weird, huh?

I had to stop to read my own galley but now I plan to get back to Rose House after our company leaves this afternoon. Couldn't finish Elisha's Bones. I tried but it just didn't pull me in.

Finished Boneman's Daughters several days ago. I am trying to decide which book to keep reading next. I have started Rose House by Tina Forkner, Daisy Chain by Mary DeMuth, Daniel's Den by Brandt Dodson and Elisha's Bones by Don Hoesel, and Reluctant Cowgirl by Christine Lynxwiler. I can't decide which of these four books to go back to. I'm leaning toward Rose House. Anyone have a preference? Just wondering. :)

But at the same time the story is so intense I do need a mental break on occasion like to eat or sleep. I am almost done with the book. Look for a review today!

I started reading this book mainly because it's my next giveaway. BUT, I also needed a break from the emotionally charged book, Maggie Come Lately. Boy, my CPS background has really brought out the willies in me as I read this. I know just who the creeps are based on the characteristics Buckman describes. And she is right on target. That is impressive. :)

Or I should say, lack thereof? Well, Maggie Come Lately is about a parentified child (she had to be an adult all of her childhood and responsible for way too much) and that reminded me so much of my own experience it was freaky! Just had to tell you. Still reading...
