I have a fantasy series, a fantasy standalone, and an apocalyptic standalone. Not sure what order I'll write these in, but I'm very excited to bring them to the world! [big grin](less)

This is always my first piece of advice for anyone serious about writing. You will learn so much and the professionals can always teach you something. There isn't an author I know who didn't have his/her mind blown from their first conference. Sometimes it takes a week or two (or five or ten) of recovery after the first conference, but if you push through, your writing will be that much better!(less)

Well friends, I’m traveling again which means the blog must fend for itself while I’m gone. In the past–sometimes when I travel I do this little thing called “10 Truths and 2 Lies“…and it is that time again.

Are you ready to win stuff?!

Here’s how the game works:

I will provide a list of 12 facts about myself. Two of those facts…are LIES. Identify both the lies in your comment (you get only one g...

I had this crazy idea, and I hope this is an okay place to share. Have you heard of those book subscription boxes, like Owl Crate? Well I had this idea to start making my own book boxes. They would be clean books for Christian teens, by authors like Stephanie Morrill, Nadine Brandes, and Lisa Tawn Bergren. A friend and I teamed up to do it and we're calling it WishLit. Do you think it would be a good idea? Would you be interested in it? Do you have any tips?

That's a great idea!
