The year is 2019. The city of Chicago is preparing to host the Democratic National Convention. Bryce Anderson, a policy analyst with the Great Lakes Research & Policy Center at UIC, has been asked to help build support for the Balancing Work with Life policy agenda. He did the research, but persuasion requires soft skills. Neither his usual technologies, nor his secret experimental one, can supplement his weaknesses in this area. He fails miserably until he receives help from a mysterious hacker called CBX.
THE ANALYST is the first story of the Chicago Democratic National Convention 2020 series. In this compelling fictionalized view of the great city of Chicago in the future, issues in the areas of education, immigration, health, labor, and security will be explored through page turning stories.
