S.N.Arly enjoys writing all manner of fantasy and dark fiction stories suitable for young adults and regular adults. Novels are her preferred length, but she also experiments with shorter forms. She is a member of the Twin Cities' critique group Guts and Rocks and can be found on Facebook and G+.

A student and teacher of Kobayashi Shorin Ryu Karate, S.N.Arly enjoys discussing effective ways to write fight scenes, and teaching other authors about traditional karate weapons so they can be used accurately in their own work. When not writing, she collects stray electrons and returns them to the world all at one time.

I've always had a good handle on developing characters, but for a long time, plot was hit or miss in my work. Keep writing, keep trying to find ways to improve on your weaknesses, and don't measure your success by things that are beyond your control.

There's no one right way to be a writer.(less)
