What? You didn't know that Santa was a zombie? Seriously, wake up people. No one gets a belly like that from eating mince pies and shots of milk. It's all human flesh and brains-but you know, in a nice way because it is the season to be jolly!
Anyway, I hope that everyone has a wonderful festive season planned. I for one am going to do NOTHING. With a capital NOTHING. I managed to get my Fairy Bad Day revisions handed in on Friday and then, a bit like waking up for a dream, I realized that it'...

Fairy Tale of New York by Shane MacGowan and Kirsty MacColl is my favorite Christmas song and I can quite easily listen to it all day on loop. What about everyone else. What songs will you be tuning into these holidays?

I've still not finished my revisions
I've still not finished my christmas shopping (despite the fact some of it needs to go to the UK)
I've still not finished locating my brain.
Yup - should be an interesting day!!!

Zombie Queen of Newbury High has been Kindlefied!! Not that we can buy Kindles in NZ or, therefore, Kindle books, but still, I'm easily pleased, hence my excitement. Anyway, if you haven't read Zombie yet (shame on you!) and you have a Kindle, now you can download it in style!!!!!

Yup, the weather. That's all I've got right now!!!!! But after are dreadful spring (which, according to who you to talk to, has been the worst in 65 million years) any sunshine is a big deal!!! The revisions are going well though I'm concerned that I had to cut out a scene where my hero was wearing nothing but a towel. Might have to find another spot for it!!!!!

Hooray, today I'm touring a brand new girlfriend, Debbie Rigaud and her amazing looking book, Perfect Shot. But before we talk about the book, lets talk about Debbie.
She began her writing career covering news and entertainment for magazines—namely, Seventeen, Twist and CosmoGIRL, and Perfect Shot is her first full lenght novel. Oh and while she's a Jersey girl at heart she actually lives in Bermuda. Bermuda, people! Picture me jealous!!!!!!
Even cooler, not only is Perfect Shot the first Simo...

...going to be busy. I need to go to work at the library, steam into my Fairy Bad Day revisions and post a GCC tour. Oh, and I should probably feed my family as well. But tonight it's all about fun. I'm going to watch Glee and then Carrie - yup, that's right. Carrie the Stephen King movie. My husband almost insisted on a divorce when he discovered that I hadn't watched it! Thankfully, we called it even since he forgot to put out the trash last night despite the fact I asked him twice. Apparen...

Lately I've become completely addicted to listening to Gin Wigmore. She is an amazingly talented NZ singer/songwriter who wrote this sone when she was sixteen, just after her father died.

I'm over at The Romantic Journey today talking about all sorts of exciting things (and yes, David Boreanaz might've been bandied about a couple of times, because I'm just so predictable). Anyway, as well as an interview, there is a copy of Zombie Queen of Newbury High up for grabs so don't forget to check it out!

Phew, it actually feels nice to carve out the time to do a blog post! What with the sickness that has continued to plague the house of Ashby, which was only interuppted by my son's seventh birthday party, it has been a pretty crazy time of late. Thankfully everyone is now on the mend and my son is already counting down until his birthday next year. That's Scorpio kids for you!!!!!
