Born and raised in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin, Caylie fell in love with reading at a young age. With her lively imagination, she created numerous stories in her head throughout her childhood and teenage years.

Her first novel, Choose Us, released in April 2014 and became an Amazon Bestseller.

When she isn't slaving away at the keyboard, Caylie is an avid reader, and lover of coffee... copious amounts of coffee. She also has an unhealthy addiction to coffee mugs, chapstick, water bottles, football, and tv shows--binge watching is her favorite.

She chases her two kids around the house all day, and has a husband who is her complete opposite, which makes for a lively household. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hi Carly!

First, THANK YOU for reading Choose Us and loving it! Means so much that you have re-read it multiple times!
Now, as for the 1.5 - that was just a little sequel for the lovers of Choose Us, a "thank you" Christmas present, if you will.
I have thought about writing Taylor's story, but I'm not sure where or how that one would go yet, since she's seeming happy with Chase right now.

I am, however, currently writing another story in the "Xtreme Bachelor" series, and am bringing back a character from Choose Us....one who gets a lot of hate. ;)
So far it's really fun to write and I'm honestly really loving the character (which is a HUGE shock for me). And I'm excited for everyone else to read it...whenever it gets done. Hopefully later this year. (less)

Hi Annie,
What I would say is to look into a blog tour. Search around the blogs you follow to see if they work with certain companies and then look that company up. It's the easiest way to get word out on your book with minimal effort on your end.
Or look into doing a Facebook ad. You can promote your book to selected interests or people who like books in your similar genre or authors like you.
These all cost money, of course, but that's kind of what you need to do to get your book out there.
Otherwise, start sending requests out to bloggers. You never know who will read and love your book and promote the heck out of it for you.
Hope this helps some!(less)

Today is a super awesome, amazing, feeling fantastic type of day.
Even the snow that is stupidly falling from the sky right now won't get me down.

All because throughout the day today I've been seeing all the fun posts from Timehop or On This Day.
From two years ago.

Two years.
Two stinking years ago, Choose Us was published.
It basically feels like a lifetime.

Two years ago, I would have been happy... Read more of this blog post »

Nothing But Readi...: Level 9 of the Serious Readers Challenge for 2016 12 191 Oct 31, 2016 07:06AM
“And you're right, I do love you Eden. I will follow you into eternity, or until after this weekend when we all die gruesome, painful deaths... But with every breath I have left, I will use it to love you. Because, Eden, I want this... You; I want you more than life, more than anything. There was a time when I didn't think I was strong enough to face you again, or what is between us. I was too afraid of the heartache, of being shattered again. But now, it doesn't matter, nothing matters except you. I will take an eternity of hardship, of war or fighting my father, or anything, just to hold your love again. You are everything to me, my sun, my moon, the air I breathe. Nothing exists accept you. I love you.”
Rachel Higginson, Endless Magic

“I loved him. My prince. My soul mate.”
Rachel Higginson, Endless Magic

“True love, whether you live your life on the run or spend it in the same house where you raise your children, is never easy and it’s certainly never safe. It’s a risk we take believing the reward is greater than what we give up.”
Rachel Higginson, Endless Magic

“You were patient all this time. I had to find myself first; I had to remember who I was and become the person I was meant to be. You have been there for me patiently while I searched for you, even when I didn't know I was looking for you, you were there.”
Rachel Higginson, Fearless Magic

“I do love you Eden, with all that I am. I don't believe there has been a more perfect love to ever exist in all of eternity, in fact. And I plan on sharing the rest of that eternity with only you”
Rachel Higginson, Hopeless Magic
