Lisa Brown liked Lauren DeStefano's review of Picture the Dead: " I loved this book. It's a short, poetic read, and the illustrations set the mood perfectly. The narrator is a bit strange, flawed, and likable, and some passages are so vivid they stayed with me for days after. "
