“Derek caught my arm again as I started to move--at this rate, it was going to be as sore as my injured one.
"Dog," he said, jerking his chin toward the fenced yard. "It was inside earlier."
Expecting to see a Doberman slavering at the fence, I followed his gaze to a little puff of white fur, the kind of dog women stick in their purses. It wasn't even barking, just staring at us, dancing in place.
"Oh, my God! It's a killer Pomeranian." I glanced up at Derek. "It's a tough call, but I think you can take him.”

Hi Kelley, I literally just finished Thirteen and wanted to say thank you for a wonderful end to one of my all-time favorite series! I'm glad there are still short pieces you plan on releasing that fit into the Otherworld, but I'm also excited to fall in love with your new projects. Savannah and Adam have always been two of my very favorite characters and I was happy to get to "ride along" with them for the last hurrah. Thank you for the years of enjoyment and characters that are too real to ever completely fade away. -Jesse

Hi Kelley! Thanks for accepting me as a friend :) I have to tell you that the Otherworld Series has been by far my favorite series to read. Elena and Clay are my two favorite characters - I could read about them all day!! Please don't stop writing about the weres! We need a book for when the twins grow up and find mates!Again, thank you for doing what you do. You are a blessing to those of us who need to get away from our everyday lives just for a bit.
