About this author

Kim Brooks is a freelance writer and avid book reader. She has been published in Pen It! Magazine, a local literary e-zine, and maintains a book review blog that covers a variety of genres. Her unrelenting love of books drives her to write short stories, poetry and her recent venture into completing full-length novel. Without a book or pen in hand, she works with the Brown-Brooks Project, created to help people in her community. A Hoosier native, she currently resides in Columbus with her husband, Chris, and her fur-kid, Patches.

From now until Tuesday (Oct 14), I will be holding a contest to win a copy of The Younger Gods by Michael R. Underwood! Contest is open to residents of the US only.
