About this author

Dom Testa is an award-winning author, speaker, and broadcaster. For more than twenty years he has captained the morning radio show on Denver's Mix100. With an audience of nearly a quarter-million people per day, The Dom and Jane Show is a three-time winner of the award for Best Morning Show, presented by the Colorado Broadcasters Association.

In the third grade Dom filled a composition notebook with his earliest attempts at writing - including an A+ grade on his essay “My Boring Family.” Years later his Galahad series of young adult books (Tor/Macmillan) went on to win an international grand prize from Writer’s Digest, multiple EVVY Awards for Best Young Adult Book, and claimed a Top Shelf selection from The American Library Association.

The point is to reset your brain. When you come back to your original story you might be able to look at it with a fresh set of eyes and neurons.(less)

I have a new Mindbender book (Volume 3) that will be out in October, and I'm excited about a new set of books for young readers called The Cooper James Mystery Series. It's sort of a nod to the old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew books, but with contemporary characters and modern tech. It's a lot of fun.(less)

This was recommended by a friend, and I'm glad I took her up on it. Written about 40 years ago, it's a time travel story that includes your basic shadowy government agency, a love story woven throughout, and intricate detail.
