Her interests are many and varied, and include astronomy, geography, yoga and metaphysics. She is a jack-of-all-trades, a Mensa *almost*, a classical music & jazz aficionado.

" Definitely worthwhile to read this book -- good story line and informative about the lives of the unemployed during the depression. I thought that Daniel's reasons for leaving were poorly explained, but it really didn't detract from the story. "

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan Press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
Calvin Coolidge
