“There are moments that define a person's whole life. Moments in which everything they are and everything they may possibly become balance on a single decision. Life and death, hope and despair, victory and failure teeter precariously on the decision made at that moment. These are moments ungoverned by happenstance, untroubled by luck. These are the moments in which a person earns the right to live, or not.”
― Jonathan Maberry, Rot and Ruin

“Often it was the most unlikely people who found within themselves a spark of something greater. It was probably always there, but most people are never tested, and they go through their whole lives without ever knowing that when things are at their worst, they are at their best.”
― Jonathan Maberry, Rot and Ruin

“I’m not sure I could trust a man who would bypass an Oreo in favor of vanilla wafers. It’s a fundamental character flaw, possibly a sign of true evil.”

You know I love a book when I decide to actually buy a copy for myself after reading it for free thanks to my library.
I just read about Rot & Ruin being turned into a movie. Congrats! I can't wait to see Benny on the big screen. I hope they do it justice.
Just finished Rot & Ruin and Dust & Decay. Couldn't put them down, or actually I didn't want to put them down. There was 1 part in the second book that I didn't like. A part that made me cry. Wish that part had been different. That said I'm really looking forward to Flesh & Bone.
Thanks for the add!
I just finished reading Dust & Decay... I'm absolutely amazed at how amazing it was. And the ending had me in tears. So amazing. Well played, sir. I can't wait to read Flesh & Bone. I hope it comes out before the zombies show up. <_<
I'm sure you already saw my little message to you but I still just want to say you really rock, Sir!! I'll be reading your books and review each one of them :)
Hey! Thanks for accepting my friend request. I am currently reading Rot & Ruin. I'm not that far into it, but so far it's pretty good! :)
Thanks very much for the friendvite! I look forward to checking out your work!VNF

Thank you for connecting with me on goodreads, I look forward to sharing some good books and some not so good books with you -♥- Sincerely Natasha @ Paranormal Goddess [Book Blog] http://paranormal-goddess.blogspot.com
Happy Thanksgiving Jonathan, it is a pleasure to meet you. If you have any questions about Harlequin or any of our books, please feel free to ask.
I really enjoyed your segments on Zombies: A Living History on the History channel! Most informative and interesting.=)
Thanks for the friend request. I'm looking forward to reading the Benny Imura series. They come highly recommended and I'm eager for a zombie fix!
Great to see you, Eva. Thanks for coming to the Liars Club event.I'm working out some new readings/signings. I'll be doing Clinton, NJ; Claymont, DE; and a few places around Pennsylvania. Dates and times soon.
I had a GREAT time listening to you read this afternoon! I'm so happy I learned about it from you in time to drive up. I can honestly say there aren't but about 2 or 3 authors I'd drive 2+ hours for but your story in The New Dead was out of this world and I know Rot & Ruin will be also. (Which I'm going to cherish now! lol) If you think of it let me know when you do any other readings near Philly and I'll try to come. I'm going to get Zombie CSU this weekend too - looking forward to it. Thanks!!
I read "Countdown" a couple months ago after my book club finished up Patient Zero. I loved it, great background to get the reader into the story of Joe Ledger.I just finished "Deep Dark" - it was fabulous! I miss Joe a lot and I can't wait to get The Dragon Factory, I'm so excited for it to come out 3-2!!
Wow Jonathan, your bio is very impressive. Thanks for adding me. If you have time, I'd love for you to visit my web site, jeanniebarber.com. I'm a novice writer so feel free to make any kind of suggestions, ideas or thoughts to correct it. I’m co-authoring a novel with Patty Wiseman, another friend on Goodreads. We’ve known each other for over 30 years. While you're there, please sign the guestbook, too! There’s also a link to our book you can click on…clairkelley@synthasite.com. This site is brand new and in the editing stage as is our story. Please visit it as well. Blessings,
Jeannie
