Hi Kakie,
Thanks for inviding me! I agree with you about teaching kids to appreciate sports! The first books I remember devouring were all the sports biographies in the library I could find. I started with Hank Aaron and finished with Babe Zaharias. (It was many years ago!!LOL)
My dad also taught me to appreciate sports by taking me to basketball games and taking the time to explain the rules.
