About this author

Dee Ann Waite writes action adventure thrillers. Her first novel, The Consequential Element is a military action thriller (with a touch of romance) that takes the reader on a full throttle international ride from the streets of Boston to the jungles of the Congo.

Her second novel, Mists of Bayou Rhyne is a Young Adult thriller set in the Mississippi Bayou. This is the first installment in the Rhyne Heart Thriller Series, and is slotted for release in March 2015.

Actually, the swamp gators were the inspiration for the location of my second novel, Mists of Bayou Rhyne (soon to be released). The setting is the Mississippi bayou. I live along the east coast of FL and spend time in the Everglades taking photos and searching for gators and other tropical critters. I'm originally a northerner, so this southern environment is exciting to me.(less)
