“Words wound deeper than any knife, my lord. Often they fester and never heal.”

“He pulled her against his chest, letting her feel his heart thunder its rhythm. Kissing her hair he whispered, the desperation raw, "You are no dream...but flesh and blood. Tell me you are real...oh, please...be real." "Aye, I am real.”
― Deborah MacGillivray, In Her Bed

“After Christian's death he'd just existed. He felt nothing, just a sense of emptiness. In some ways he welcomed that hollowness inside of him. It was easier to be numb, not caring beyond the basic needs to survive. But with spring's return, some intangible force stirred inside him, as if his emotions had been frozen through dead of winter. Now it was time to live again. His spirit awakened.”

Thank you. Depends upon her tastes. If she like contemporary style romances either The Invasion of Falgannon Isle or Riding the Thunder. If she like historicals, A Restless Knight. No worries about not being your cup of tea. We all have different tastes, though I do have a large male reader base worldwide. I even get fan male from Japan, Hong Kong and Indonesia! Bodes well, since the historicals were bought by Random House Japan for translation.
Happy New Year to you and your wife!
Deborah
Hi Deborah,You've got a very impressive list of publications. Very cool. Romance books are not my thing, but perhaps I will pick up one of yours for my wife. Which one would you recommend?
Hi Deborah, Thanks for the add.
