“When your laboratory explodes, lacing your body with a supercharged elixir, what do you do? You don't just lie there. You crawl out of the rubble, hideously scarred, and swear vengeance on the world. You keep going. You keep trying to take over the world.”

Soon I Will Be Invincible was an incredibly fun read. My daughter lent me her copy of the "Doctor Horrible's Sing-along Blog" DVD and I kept thinking, "This is so much like 'Soon I Will Be Invincible". I suspect Joss Whedon was very much influenced by your book.
