About this author

D. Jason Fleming is a geek and a wordsmith who presently resides in the People's Glorious Egalitarian Republic of California, mostly because they haven't let him out yet.

[NOTE: This is an excerpt from Continuous Vaudeville by Will M. Cressy, first published in 1914. It's a bit of an oddball book, consisting of almost random snatches of memoir mixed with a large volume of anecdotes about Vaudeville life from the perspective of a long-active performer. Karen Williams
Karen Williams is on page 107 of 213 of The Perks of Being a Wallflower: I read this in high school and absolutely hated it. Now, at the age of 24, married and with a kid, I'm giving it a second chance seeing that it has become widely popular within the YA Lit community. So far, I've noticed that I sympathize more with the character of Charlie. Back then in high school when I first read this, I just thought Charlie acted like a priss who needed to grow a pair of balls.
