“This isn't supposed to be a democratic society, it's a council of an elite group, running a population, basically think of earth as a zoo, we're just the one's who feed the animals.”

“The sea was sparkling, it had a feint crystal like shimmer against the setting of the evening sun. When I walked out of the water, Elijah was staring at me.
"Crap" I thought as the transformation subsided. The black scales recoiled back into my skin, but there was still evidence of it as my tattered clothes hung from my shoulders.
'I bet they sent you here to kill me, or are you just a hunter who plays victim' I said darkly as Eli walked forward with the katana. The strange violet eyed boy smiled 'actually, I was sent to kill you, but I would like to keep my friendship with your brother. If I told him I'd gone through with it, well, I wouldn't get the girl now would I' he replied snidely.”

“Magic is not a tool, it is a weapon, a weaponn that can be used to turn even the most decent of men into drunken fools' said Merlin darkly as Arthur courted one of the princess. Gwen narrowed her eyes at Merlin and smiled 'and here I thought that was wine' she replied before turning and walking off to join Mordred, who was standing in hallway, grinning.”

“In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were real men, women were real women and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri.”

― Stephen King

“Don't touch any of my weapons without my permission."
"Well, there goes my plan for selling them all on eBay," Clary muttered.
"Selling them on what?"
Clary smiled blandly at him. "A mythical place of great magical power.”
