Though Therese earned recognition for her short fiction, placing highly in national writing competitions, her debut novel, Souvenir, was her first published work of any kind. Her second novel, Reunion, was released in March and she's hard at work on her next novel, presently known as Breakaway.

Midwest born and raised, she left Illinois for Texas, the Philippines, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota again, before finally settling in North Carolina in 1995.

Therese's books have been feature by IndieBound, Borders Book Club, Target Breakout Books, and the Barnes & Noble New Reads Book Club. Editions are available in nine languages and twenty-eight countries, to date.
