John Sakkis lives in the the Lower Haight, San Francisco. Author of Rude Girl (BlazeVox Books). With Angelos Sakkis he translates the work of Athenian poet/ multi-media artist Demosthenes Agrafiotis, their translation of Agrafiotis's Chinese Notebook (Ugly Duckling Presse) and Maribor (The Post-Apollo Press) were both published in 2010. Numerous chapbooks including RAVE ON! (Lew Gallery) Gary Gygax (Cy Gist Press), Rude Girl (Duration Press), The Moveable Ones (Transmission Press) and Coast (Dusie). He translated Siarita Kouka's Benthos (Silas Press). He works for Small Press Distribution.

my first length, Rude Girl, just out from BlazeVox! (repost, just received more copies...)

Dear Family, Friends, Poets, Teachers, Beauties, Pundits, Parents,

Kind of stoked today because my first full-length book, Rude Girl, has just arrived from the printer! Whoopie! Wanted to let those near and dear to my heart hear about it.
