The Assembly on Literature for Adolescents (ALAN) of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) is pleased and proud to announce the winner of the inaugural Amelia Elizabeth Walden Book Award for Young Adult Fiction. Ah, Fall is in the air, and the turkeys are on sale at the supermarket, which can mean only one thing–NCTE & ALAN!
