I am a librarian by day and a writer all the rest of the time. I am also a television show addict with a particular fondness for Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead and a slightly obsessive sports fan who cheers for the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bengals. In addition, I am an animal lover and a rescue advocate and I share my home with my rescued dog and cat.

My novels include the paranormal thrillers Polar Night & Polar Day and the historical ghost story The Ghosts of Aquinnah. I have also published the novella The Turnagain Arm, a prequel to both Polar Night and Polar Day. My debut children's book, Baby Moo's Great Escape, will be published on September 8, 2016.

Hello and Happy Friday from my dog Clancy the Clown and me! We are ready to celebrate the weekend.

Doesn't he look like a stuffed animal here? :D
Friday is the day to Celebrate the Small Things and today I'm celebrating Clancy's adorable clown costume! This costume used to be mine - I wore it to a Halloween party back in the 1990s. My mom found it in a drawer at her house and we decided to see... Read more of this blog post »
