Logan Ryan Smith lives in Chicago where he publishes TRANSMISSION PRESS (transmissionpress.weebly.com), and small town, a poetry mag (now defunct). His fifth book, BUG HOUSE, is due out from Mission Cleaners Books (http://www.missioncleaners.com/) in the summer of 2012. His first book, THE SINGERS, was published by Dusie Press Books in the summer of 2007 and in the fall of '07 he released STUPID BIRDS under his TRANSMISSION PRESS imprint. His third and fourth books, IN A STATE, and, FOR FRIENDS, are currently out from TRANSMISSION PRESS as ebooks as they await their paper homes. A chapbook, TRACKS, was published by ypolita press, and his long poem, A RING OF TRUMPET BRASS, was published as a booklet by House Press. Other poetry has appeared...more
