Jesus was born into a royal family--his father a direct descendant of King David, his mother a descendant of Aron, the brother of Moses. His cousin, John the Baptist, would proclaim him Messiah.

Jesus was born to be Chirst, the King of the Jews, and thus King of Israel. Yet, to take his rightful place upon the throne, Jesus, the Messiah, had to first fulfill the prophecies, and to die on the cross...only to rise from his death like sleep, on the third day.

And Jesus fulfilled the prophecies, and was crucified during Passover. For hours he hung, in agony, only to suddenly "give up the ghost" after taking but a sip of "vinegar" offered to him by a mysterious man who stood at the foot of the cross.

So far, everything had gone according to plan, and indeed, Jesus had been planning his death, and crucifixion, for years.

Soon, he would be taken down from the cross, and in just three days time, Jesus would arise from his death-like sleep, and would be proclaimed: Jesus the Christ, King of the Jews, and thus, King of Israel.

But then, something went terribly wrong...
