Romance is completely addictive! I starting reading them while in portland on spring break of my junior year in high school. My dad was having cancer treatments then, and i walked across the hall to see what was in the entertainment room, we had left the backpack with my books sitting on the couch so i picked up a few novels. Wasn't thrilled about it, i had read mostly non fiction up until then, but I absolutely got swept away. I read Lisa Kleypas' "Midnight Angel" In a matter of several hours. After that I was hooked!
