About this author

Aidee Ladnier (who also writes as Angelia Pitman) began writing fiction at 12 years old but took a hiatus to be a magician’s assistant, ride in hot air balloons, produce independent movies, collect interesting shoes, and amass a secret file with the CIA. A lover of genre fiction, it has been a lifelong dream of Aidee's to write both romance and erotica with a little science-fiction, fantasy, mystery or the paranormal thrown in to add a zing.

A blank page does not begin a story. A blank page does not continue a story and a blank page cannot end a story.

It's really hard sometimes, just getting the words down. And often that first draft is ugly. But you know what? Once an idea has been written, it can be cleaned up, polished, and maybe published.

A book that hasn't been started, or more importantly, hasn't been finished, has zero chance of being published.(less)

Aidee: Today I’d like to take a short moment to interview two of my favorite men, Dr. Forbes Pohle and his research assistant, Oliver Lennox. So I couldn’t help noticing after reading both The Applicant and The Break-in, are you both each other’s first time with a man?
Oliver: Well, not technically my first time. I’d been with a few other people.

“Men came in and dragged us apart. It took us five minutes to bring Nora to. She sat up holding her cheek and looked around the room until she saw Morelli, nippers on one wrist, standing between two detectives. Morelli's face was a mess: the coppers had worked him over a little just for the fun of it. Nora glared at me. "You damned fool," she said, "you didn't have to knock me cold.
