About this author

Christie was born and raised in a suburb of Salt Lake City, Ut. She lives less than a mile from the home she grew up in. World traveler she is not. But what she lacked in travel she more than made up for in her imagination. Within her vivid imagination she has traveled the world over as well as different worlds and different times.

She is a loving mother of two wonderful children that she admits she is obsessed with. She has been married for 18 years to a very tolerant man that is grounded in reality in order for her to fly to the heights of her own imagination.

Seriously, everyone deals with writer's block in different ways. And I deal with it differently depending on the piece of work and where in the work I am and the phase of the moon and the color of my hair. Get a tattoo, write bad poetry. Write good poetry.
It's really different for everyone. (Wait did I say that already?) Maybe this is writers block...
I suffer from debilitating writers block I've been known to not write anything good for more then a year... In fact my last published book was more than 18 months ago... don't make me cry. Or drink heavily or throw something at you.
HONESTLY skip here for real advice.
Take a deep breath. Everyone gets writer's block. You are not alone, take another deep breath. Step away from your computer and just take a break. Do something different. And come back once your mind has freed itself.(less)

My Take on the Book
Not the Rapunzel you grew up believing in.

I love a good Fairy Tale re-telling. And this Rapunzel retelling takes the story and mixes it up, giving it a very young adult feel instead of pre-teen or even a younger feel.
However, t
