Ramblings on Before True Light

Before True Light: The Awakening was first published June of 2012. Since then I have not released any new books but I have been writing. I think the next book in the series I want to release is In the Beginning. This book is currently going through its tenth re-write...I've actually stopped counting already.

I know there are some people who have voiced that they want continue the story but I feel it is more important to get the story right than to get another book out. I am happy that some people really enjoyed The Awakening but this has also created an anxiety to create a next installment that not only fulfills the expectations of the readers but to surpass them as well... and this takes time. I think I finally have a storyline that will blow people's minds. The entire series when all put together will be a 'real mind blower'...I hope. It will actually work together well with United as One, this book conintues Izanami's story, whereas In the Beginning sets up why Izanami's story is happening at all. In the Beginning will give reads a deeper insight to the overall story! Think there will be four books for the entire story...possibly five. I have a really unique idea but I am not sure if it needs its own book.

What else can I ramble about when it comes to Before True Light? If any of my readers read this, are there any questions you would like me to answer?

Also, The Awakening is growing in ways that I could have never imagined. I did not think it would be getting so many downloads as it has in such a little amount of time that it has been out. When I originally started writing this series, I did not think I would publish it. I was afraid that no one would like it because the writing style is a bit different. Some people love my use of imagery but some people absolutely hate it. I never expected everyone to like it but I am glad and grateful that people enjoy the writing style and the story itself. It is this that keeps me writing more.
I would like to thank everyone who has read The Awakening. I ask that readers who do want more...please be patient with me. I'm working on it constantly...I promise!!!

Where to find the Awakening

I have noticed there is not really any area to place links to where an author's work is available. So instead of making a potential reader search for it, here are the links to purchase the Awakening:

https://itunes.apple.com/ca/book/befo...

http://www.kobobooks.com/search/searc...

https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/befor...

The Awakening is now available for free at these fine retailers.

New Beginnings

It was difficult enough to complete the entire novel writing experience. The entire experience as in the actual writing, editing, edit some more, when I think editing is done...I edit more. Then there was getting published. Long story stort, I ended up doing the publishing myself...their loss!

Now I am taking on another new venture. Marketing and promotion. To get some exposure, I had to and am still doing things that I do not like. For instance, Twitter. I have had never had a use for Twitter until I needed to start expanding my network. Now I am also blogging, which is something I never thought I would do! Again, I just never had a use for it until now.

I find it amazing how taking on new projects in life can create new beginnings in other things. Although using Twitter and blogging is not a big deal these days, but using these tools is slowly opening up new opportunities for me. Lesson learned... try new things. You never know where it can lead you.
