Through her global travels and explorations Jacqueline DeCarlo became convinced of the benefits of Fair Trade to both producers and consumers. Believing that Fair Trade offers a sustainable and empowering framework for understanding consumption and trade, Jackie travels throughout the United States determined to help educate other consumers about Fair Trades power and potential. She was the director of the Fair Trade Resource Network from 2001 until she joined Catholic Relief Services in 2005, where she serves as a Senior Program Advisor. Jackie resides in Washington, D.C. and in addition to her first book regularly posts to her blog, Fair Trade Beginners."
