About this author

I'm a psychotherapist and have worked mainly in inpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient programs in the military, the prison system, and community agencies. I've worked with adolescents and adults, primarily with addictions, PTSD, and severe mood disorders. I also worked for a few years as a program manager with the state health department - that involved administering contracts and providing technical assistance for county and tribal health councils. Now I'm mostly retired for health reasons, still writing, focused on adults with addictions.
Books in print: two coauthored with Brenda S. Lenz - The Addiction Counselor's Documentation Sourcebook, 2nd Ed., and The Addiction Treatment Homework Planner, 4th Ed., and one written sol
