George R. Shirer was born and raised in South Carolina, but has lived in Alaska, Ohio, Virginia and Washington D.C.
Highlights from his life include a brief career as a fortune teller, testifying in an honest-to-God murder trial and accidentally peeing on a bear.
Since his return to South Carolina, George R. Shirer has published a number of short stories as well as his first full-length novel, Dawnwind: Last Man Standing.
When he's not promoting his writing or distracted by the Internet, he continues to write.

What I'm Reading and What I'm Writing....

Good morning, gentle readers. It's Monday morning and here I sit, eating an iced Honey Bun, sipping a Coca-Cola and finishing up a short story involving time travel.
