About this author

Mark West was born in Northamptonshire in 1969. Writing stories since the age of eight, he discovered the small press in 1999 and since then, he’s published more than 60 stories in various publications around the world. His first collection, “Strange Tales”, appeared from Rainfall Books in 2003 and this was followed in 2005 by the novel “In The Rain With The Dead”, from Pendragon Press. His novelette “The Mill” was part of the critically acclaimed five author collection “We Fade To Grey” and was followed by "Conjure", which Rainfall Books published in September 2009 (and it has since been re-published as an eBook by Gen-Next Publications). As regular readers of the blog will know, my story “Fog On The Old Coast Road” will be published in the NewCon Press/Un:Bound VE anthology “Hauntings”, edited by Ian Whates. The wraparound cover, created by Ben Baldwin, is below (and it's a thing of beauty, I'm sure you'll agree).
