She smiled. "Oookay." She was mocking me-mocking my tone-but I didn't care.
"Okay. Here it is. I love you," I said. "And I never, ever wanted to hurt you. It's like, the number one thing I never want to do, but somehow, I keep doing it. And I'm sorry, I just...that's all I wanted to say all this time. All I was trying to do...with that thing with your dad, not telling you...was not to hurt you. And I'm sorry that I did.
Alley stared at me.
"And I'm sorry that I did it again. With the Chloe thing. Which was stupid. Like, really, really, stupid. And I-"
"Can you just stop, for a second?" Ally said, holding up a hand.
"What?" I said.

I racked my brain.
"Um...I love you?" I said.

I'm almost ready to read the next private series book after I finish Heist Society by Ally Carter...the one after Untouchable, is it Confessions?
Okay, nevermind to that last question. I saw the answer on the Private blog. That is usually the first place I check, but for some reason I didn't this time. :O Anyways, I'm so excited (and sad) for the last Private book to arrive. Do you have any plans for another series? I'm going to hit Borders for your books under your real name, but after those....I don't have anything. :( No pressure at all. :) Thanks for being a great author!

ummm Growing up I loved reading the Mary-kate and ashley series. you know two of a kind, the mystery ones and sweet sixteen. while trying to find the third book in the sweet sixteen series the name "emma harrison' kept coming up and I could not figure out why it was familiar. Then I realized it is one of your pen names. Did you write some of those books?! and some of the Charmed books?! If so wow talk about life long favorite author.

After I read So Dead to Us, I cannot WAIT for the sequel. I hadn't realized you were also the Private series author until I read the back of She's so dead to us. Anyways love your writing. :)
